The Mound City United Methodist Church is part of a cooperative parish with Oregon UMC and Forest City UMC. Together we bring unique gifts of our congregations to live out Jesus' love in Holt County. The Mound City Church was founded in 1864. Our congregation is made up of many historic families in the community – and these are complimented by those of us who have come to the area more recently. We are farmers and teachers, retired and working, service workers, business owners and employees. We come together to worship and share what we all have in common: a love for Jesus.

We use a blend of traditional and more modern music and messages. We gather for Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month and at other times during the year. We fellowship together as we serve in the community and encourage one another in our faith. We invite you to come any Sunday – and celebrate the goodness of God with us!
